All aboard the Origin Express

Another State of Origin series is over, Queensland's win a fitting end to the stellar Origin career of Darren Lockyer.

Last night more than 54,000 people packed Lang Park to see the Marrons take down NSW. Some of those were there thanks to a special rail service dubbed the Origin Express, which ran down from Bundaberg to Brisbane on Wednesday afternoon, and then made the return journey once the game was over.

Max Cruise, general manager of Queensland Rail Travel, says Bundaberg was a good starting point for the Origin Express because of the city's distance from Brisbane.
