Rising Manly star Dean Whare will join Penrith next season on a two-year contract.
Whare has impressed for the Sea Eagles this year in the centres, having played nine of the club's 12 matches.
It is expected Whare will find a starting position with the Panthers in 2013 in light of winger Michael Gordon's decision to move to Cronulla.
