A man has been charged for allegedly headbutting the referee of an under 12s rugby league game in Sydney over the weekend.
Police say the 18-year-old referee sent an assistant official from the field after being abused at St Andrews, in the city's south-west, on Sunday.
The 23-year-old allegedly confronted the referee after the game and headbutted him.
He has been charged with assault and is expected to appear in court in June.
